Why Every Driver Needs A Dashcam

Bill Kidd's Toyota wants you to get the most out of all of your vehicle's accessories. Most new cars now come with dashcams, but are they really necessary when you're driving in Cockeysville?

Accidents are something that nobody wants to experience. Fortunately, most traffic accidents aren't serious, but a dishonest witness can ruin your driving record. You might know for a fact that the other driver ran a stop sign and hit you, but according to their witness, you were the one in the wrong. How do you convince the police that the other driver was at fault? You can't, unless, of course, you have a dashcam.

Dashcams also come in handy in the event of a hit-and-run. Have you ever returned to your parked vehicle to find a body dent or scratched fender? If the other driver doesn't leave their information, you'll have to pay out-of-pocket to have it fixed or risk having your insurance rates skyrocket. A dashcam catches would-be hit-and-run drivers in the act.
