The 2018 Toyota 4Runner Offers New Features and Upgrades

It's been 34 years since the first 4Runner hit the streets, and since then Toyota has continued to improve its capabilities and offerings -- part of the reason it's still such a popular choice for drivers around the country. The new 2018 Toyota 4Runner offers consumers two new packages and two trim levels and two new packages to appeal to even more interests.

The new Wilderness Package, which is available for the SR5, SR5 Premium, TRD Off-Road and TRD Off-Road Premium grades, brings roof rack crossbars, all-weather floor liners and a cargo tray to the 4Runner. The TRD Enhancement Package, which is only offered on the TRD trim levels, tacks on TRD 17-inch matte gray alloy wheels and an aluminum front skid plate that features a TRD stamp.

Choose from six trim grades for the 2018 4Runner: SR5, SR5 Premium, new TRD Off-Road, new TRD Off-Road Premium, TRD Pro and the luxurious Limited. You can count on the 4.0-liter V6 to offer 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque, and all six models are capable of towing up to 5,000 pounds.
