Traveling With Food For the Holidays

Oh, we can smell it now! That delicious food is cooking, there are mashed potatoes on the stove, and you are bringing along your family's famous stuffing to pass around the table this holiday season. Before you pack up your food and take it on the road with you, you may want to think about how you are going to properly transport your food. There are a lot of different ways to do this, but we here at Bill Kidd's Toyota want to make sure you stay safe, your food stays safe, and your vehicle is protected.

Consider buying some new dishes that are specifically made for traveling. Usually, this means the lids are going to be a pretty heavy duty and they will be form fitting to the container or will snap on tightly. You should also lay something down on your seat like a towel to protect your vehicle from spills. If you are concerned with space, come by our lot to test drive a new model that could have enough space to pack in the food.
