The current three recalls are as follows:
Floor Mat Entrapment VIDEO
This recall involves the potential for an unsecured or incompatible driver's floor mat to interfere with the accelerator pedal and cause it to get stuck. The shape of the pedal will be reconfigured, and on the Camry and Avalon, the floor's carpet will also be modified. Click HERE to see the models involved. |
Pedal Assembly VIDEO
This recall involves the possibility that certain accelerator mechanisms may stick in a partially depressed position. A steel reinforced plate will be installed into the pedal assembly, eliminating potential excess friction that can cause sticking. Click HERE to see the models involved. |
Prius Brake System VIDEO
This recall involves the potential inconsistent feel with the ABS when the 2010 Prius is driven over rough or slick surfaces. A software update will be applied to adjust the overall sensitivity of the ABS system. Click HERE to read the details. |
